Strength You Didn't Know You Had #SisterhoodUnite

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Similac . All opinions are 100% mine.

This video, friends. It's a real snapshot of motherhood. From the strength that it takes to labor our children into this world, to the strength that it takes to tackle 4am feedings and sleepless nights; it's all there.

Whether you're having your first child or fourth child, the journey is very much so the same, in so many ways. Having had four children now, I speak from experience. The pendulum of emotions is in constant motion. The raw fear, the sheer excitement, the joy, the trepidation. Motherhood requires a strength that seems impossible to muster. Where does one derive the strength to be a little one's everything? I don't know, friends. But I will tell you this: just when you think you can't keep going anymore, at the moment when you think you have nothing left to give, you find that you can and you do. Mother's are strong like that. We tackle herculean tasks every day, much of the time sleep-deprived, and we keep it moving. We're seemingly immune to giving up.

These four, I would do absolutely anything for them.  Love is some serious fuel, friends. It powers me through every minute of every day. The hurdles, though plentiful in motherhood, give-way to a joy that I wouldn't trade for the world. They are mine and I am theirs. For better, or worse...

Motherhood is a sisterhood, like no other, and Similac understands that on the most important level. After conducting research and listening to thousands of moms, Similac introduced the Sisterhood of Motherhood campaign. The campaign encouraged parents to stop judging each other's parenting  decisions, and instead focus on raising happy and healthy babies. Now, they are evolving the conversation beyond the judgment, to focus on the immense strength of mother's and on the importance of supporting each other as moms.

With Mother's Day coming up, take a moment to share this beautiful video and salute to motherhood, with a special mom in your life. After all friends, no matter where you are in your journey in motherhood, we all have the same common goal at the end of the day. As parents, all we really want for our babies is love, acceptance and happiness.

To all the mom's out there: high-fives all around! If I could reach through this computer screen and hug each and every one of you, I would. Good job, you are so strong! Keep going, what you do is important! You are the most important person in your child's life, and that's pretty special. More special than you may know. Love your kids, show yourself some love, and spread the love around.
