You all already know how much we adore Camelback Resort, in the Poconos. It's one of our families favorite winter and summer destinations! Well, BIG things are happening again on Camelback Mountain! They've just opened the largest tubing park in the country, and Galactic Snow Tubing at night. With 42 lanes, the park boasts an impressive laser light show that's set / timed to music. Galactic Snow Tubing debuts at dusk through close, every night throughout the season.

The magic carpet style lift simply ushers you and your tube (in a standing position) from the base of the hill to the top. Once at the top, you'll quickly find yourself placed in a lane; wait times are pretty fast given the size of the park.
Base Camp 1, offers up treats and eats, cold beverages, hot beverages (hot chocolate and coffee) and more, at more than reasonable price points. You can either take your concessions inside and warm up at a table, or enjoy them fireside on one of the large log benches in front of one of two bonfires.
Whizzing down the snow covered hill alongside 41 other riders with the dancing lights and sounds, offers up an experience like no other; which is what Camelback is all about! They're always quick to create experiences that you won't soon find elsewhere; which is exactly what keeps us coming back season after season. We can't wait to see what they'll dream up next!
