Simple & Delicious Pumpkin Pie Crescents + Crescent Ring Recipes


Looking for the very best pumpkin pie recipe, that's just as easy to put together as it is delicious? This pumpkin pie crescents {and crescent ring } recipe is it! These recipes combine all of the lovely flavors of pumpkin pie, in two easy-to-put-together 15-20 minute recipes.

My favorite part {aside from the fact that it only takes 15-20 minutes to assemble and bake these}? Both recipes only requires 4 very simple ingredients! Serve these pumpkin pie crescents {or crescent ring} alongside a hot cup of coffee at your next holiday gathering, or as a great "anytime" seasonal treat.

Pumpkin Pie Crescents Recipe

Recipe yields: 16 Pumpkin Pie Crescents / Crescent Rolls
Prep time: 5 minutes
Bake time: 10-12 Minutes

What you'll need:
  • a nonstick baking sheet
  • 2 cans crescent dough (generally come 8 to a can/package in the refrigerated section at the grocery store)
  • 2 cups pumpkin pie filling (not pumpkin puree)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese frosting 
How to:
  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Open your packages of crescent dough. Separate crescent dough triangles at the perforations. Lay each crescent dough triangle out on your baking sheet {evenly spaced}.
  3. Next, spoon 1 - 1/12 TBSP. pumpkin pie filling mixture onto each triangle piece of crescent dough.
  4. Now, roll crescents according to package instructions {careful to not disturb/spill the pumpkin pie filling as you roll}. Repeat this step until all 16 pumpkin pie crescents are complete.
  5. Sprinkle the tops of each pumpkin pie crescent with ground cinnamon.
  6. Place in preheated oven { 375 degrees F. }and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven, and allow your crescents to cool for 10-15 minutes.
  8. Once cool, heat 1/4 cup cream cheese icing in microwave safe bowl for about 35 seconds.
  9. Next, drizzle warmed cream cheese icing evenly over top of your Pumpkin Pie Crescents.
  10. Serve your Pumpkin Pie Crescents alongside a cup of hot coffee, or your favorite warm beverage.

Pumpkin Pie Crescent Ring Recipe


Recipe yields: 1 Pumpkin Pie Crescent Ring 
Serves: 4-6 people
Prep time: 5 minutes
Bake time: 15-18 Minutes

What you'll need:
  • a nonstick pizza pan / circular baking sheet
  • 2 cans crescent dough (generally come 8 to a can/package in the refrigerated section at the grocery store)
  • 2 cups pumpkin pie filling (not pumpkin puree)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese frosting 

How to:
  1. Start by preheating your oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Open your packages of crescent dough. Separate crescent dough triangles at the perforations. Lay each crescent dough triangle out on your baking sheet overlapping dough pieces at the center {points out - refer to image below}
  3. Next, spoon pumpkin pie filling mixture evenly onto each triangle piece of crescent dough {refer to image below}.
  4. Now, fold crescent "points" inward towards the center of your "ring" {over top of  the pumpkin pie filling} press each point down firmly to the pan as you go {to keep pumpkin pie filling secure/in place as it bakes}
  5. Sprinkle the top of your pumpkin pie crescent ring evenly with ground cinnamon.
  6. Place in preheated oven { 375 degrees Fahrenheit }and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven, and allow your crescent ring to cool for 10-15 minutes.
  8. Once cool, heat 1/4 cup cream cheese icing in microwave safe bowl for about 35 seconds.
  9. Drizzle warmed cream cheese icing evenly over top of your pumpkin pie crescent ring.
  10. Serve slices of your pumpkin pie crescent ring alongside a cup of hot coffee, or your favorite warm beverage.
