The upcoming 2012 back to school and fall season is all about bright pops of color, neon denim, distressed denim, lace, fringe, poncho tops, and layered tees; everything I've seen for the upcoming season is so much fun and very reminiscent of the 80's and 90's! This year Kohl's has all of the fashion forward trends that the kids are looking for as they're heading back to school, at price points that are easy on the budget.
All of those item's that are topping wishists' this season can be found in one convenient place, and not only will it most likely be on sale, there's almost always a printable coupon or "saving's pass" to be found on kohls.com!
This year, with both of my children heading back to school (oh my goodness! I can't believe my BABY has reached this huge milestone already...where does the time go?!) we are shopping with a clear budget in mind. The task of trying to stick to that budget with two children who now have definite opinions and style preferences can get a bit tricky.
Kohl's offers designer brands and exclusive lines that keep my kids on trend and the savings in my wallet; so it's a "win-win" situation for us all!
We shopped a nearby Kohl's location recently to stock up on great fashions and essentials, for the back to school season. We went into the store with a $200 budget, a 15% off savings pass (that we printed on Kohls.com), and a list of the item's that we were hoping to find for the upcoming school year / fall season.
While the savings were everything that we have come to expect {and love} at Kohl's, we happened to arrive at the store during an "Early Bird" sale, so the savings were phenomenal! Make sure you keep an eye out for Nightowl / Early Bird sales with Kohl's, they usually run on the weekends and periodically throughout the holidays; the savings and deals are amazing!
We perused both the boy's and girl's sections first and wrapped up our shopping trip in the shoe department. We found all of the colored and neon denim, jeggings, and a great licensed character backpack {only 13.99 + additional 15% off with our savings pass} that topped our daughter's list this year; and the distressed denim, character tee's and layered long sleeve tee's that my son was hoping for
We also caught some incredible deals in the shoe department too!
