Our Experience
For around a year I took it upon myself to cut B's hair myself. Though I wasn't a pro, the "home haircuts" sufficed. As he got a little older he became more difficult to control, and rather than give myself a headache I took him to my hair salon for his haircuts.
After a few years of paying a significant amount of money ($27) to have his hair cut every 3-4 weeks....I was beyond eager to see if the WAHL Color Pro would make cutting B's hair at home possible. While I am all for saving money, I still wanted his hair to look as though it had been cut professionally. Equipped with the knowledge from the Included instruction book, and an easy to use color guide on the handle, I gave it a whirl. Because everything is color coded, it made it simple to see which combs would achieve the desired length (I even managed to do a two length cut...cutting it shorter along the bottom and gradually easing into the longer length on the top). The WAHL Color Pro is definitely user friendly! Because the clipper was so easy to use I finished B's hair fairly quickly (always a plus when your dealing with a fidgety little one) and the results were definitely of professional quality (thank you very much ;).
DH was skeptical about the idea of home haircuts when the WAHL Color Pro arrived ; however after seeing the great results of B's haircut he's been nagging me to cut his hair as well!
