The princess loves horses ( we take her to a local horse farm at least once a month to ride her favorite pony "Ariel")! She was so excited when I introduced her to this adorable new book (Taking the Reins; pictured above), with colorful illustrations. The book encompasses all that American Girl stands for, and allows the child (or parent reading) to choose the direction the story goes with optional endings (which makes for a new and exciting adventure every time your read it ). The princess also loved that she could explore with mommy online with the secret code provided in the book! This new series encompasses American Girl's initiative to encourage younger girls to be the best that they can be. What mom wouldn't love that?!
